SUNFLOWERS

Cut Your Own Sunflowers

Our Summer Cut Your Own Sunflower fields are done blooming.

We have two Fall fields that will bloom sometime in mid-September. We'll announce open dates and times for those fields once they are in bloom.

General Cut Your Own Information:

Admission is $15 per carload (not per person) which includes 1 empty quart mason jar for the car to share to fill with our Sunflowers while you enjoy the field. You may purchase additional jars for $10.00 each to fill with more Sunflowers. We have scissors you can borrow, but we recommend you bring some hand clippers as some of the stems can be thick. These are medium size, pollen free sunflowers. We'll give everyone a quick Sunflower cutting lesson at the start of your time and then you will be on your own. We will have water for the jars to help you get your flowers home.

We accept cash, card or Venmo. When you arrive at our farm, you will be driving past our home, back behind the barns, and around our Christmas Tree Fields on graveled farm driveways to the sunflower parking area (follow sunflower signs). Passenger cars/ trucks only, no buses, we don't have the room to get them in! Please do not park anywhere else besides the designated sunflower parking area.

Remember this is an outdoor, farm environment and you may experience hot sun, wet grass, dirt, mud, bugs, bees, weeds, uneven ground, rocks, sticks, critters, and other fun things so please be aware and be prepared. The sunflower plants themselves can be itchy to some people, so keep that in mind as you will literally be walking in the field and the sunflowers are very tall!

Please be respectful of other guests and our neighbors. NO DOGS ARE PERMITTED ON OUR FARM (except during specific doggy events).

Professional or amateur staged/portrait photos (family portraits, senior photos, etc.) are prohibited during general Cut Your Own sessions and must take place on one of our specific photo session dates. We will be scheduling these for our Sept. sunflower field. Email us at rogishfarm@yahoo.com for information.

Since we only schedule a few days out, we are able to monitor weather forecasts and avoid inclement weather. If we have a pop-up storm, we will have you wait in your cars until the storm passes and when it's safe to do so, reopen the fields.
